Viktor Ahlgren
Researcher
Viktor is a Researcher in the Public Banks team within the Sustainable Finance programme. His primary work is on providing research and analysis for E3G’s Public Bank Climate Tracker Matrix.
Viktor’s work focuses on the mainstreaming of climate considerations in the policies and operations of Public Development Banks globally, covering both national and multilateral institutions.
He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Global Affairs from King’s College London, where he specialised in MENA and Chinese politics. Between his Undergraduate and Masters, he provided research support for the UN E-government survey and spent time volunteering with the Dutch NGO ‘Movement on the Ground’ in the refugee camp community on Lesvos, Greece.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports, especially football, tennis and skiing, as well as going to live music.
