Salvatore Serravalle is the E3G Programme Lead for Global Macro & Finance Resilience.
In this role, Salvatore is leading initiatives aimed at enhancing financial systems and macro-budgetary policy to accelerate the global transition to a low-carbon future.
Salvatore has over 20 years of experience as an economist in the French administration. He served in key roles at the French Treasury where he was in charge of preparing briefings about EU policy for the Finance Minister, in the Prime Minister’s office where he was deputy secretary general for EU affairs, and more recently heading the Green Economy Department at the Ministry of Environment. Prior to joining E3G, Salvatore worked at Bank of America, where he was responsible for Public Policy, covering France and the EU.
He has a Master’s degree from Ensae Paris in applied mathematics, statistics and economic analysis.
During his free time, you can find him practicing sports or hiking in the mountains.
