Jonny Peters
Chief of Staff
Jonny Peters is Chief of Staff at E3G. He supports the leadership team with senior management processes, strategic projects, as well as internal communications, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

As Chief of Staff, Jonny helps to ensure the smooth running of E3G’s leadership processes, working with the co-CEOs, Executive, and Senior Management teams. Alongside supporting E3G’s organisational development and priority projects, he also manages internal communications, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, and staff relationships including through the Workplace Forum.
Jonny first joined E3G in 2021 as a Senior Policy Advisor. He previously led E3G’s work on international trade, with a focus on multilateral, EU, and UK trade and climate policy.
Prior to E3G, Jonny spent five years working in the UK government, ending with COP26. He worked in EU and international climate policy roles, in the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, the Brexit Department, and the UK Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels.
Jonny holds an MA in EU International Relations from the College of Europe in Bruges and a BA in International Relations and Politics from the University of Sheffield.
Jonny lives in Brighton. Outside of work, he is into his music, particularly adding to his eclectic record collection.
