E3G Operations
At the heart of E3G are its staff in finance and project management, HR, and communications who help E3G build big with limited resources.
E3G needs to move quickly while maintaining transparency on how funds from its funders and partners are spent. This is core to E3G’s values, culture and practice.
Each policy team is different and brings varied governance and sector challenges, and E3G hosts many varied Secretariats and influence groups. The specialist operational teams enable us to tune our strategic approach while harnessing common experiences, building knowledge across teams, and ensuring interoperability on cross-E3G activities.
The operational teams work to form alliances amongst practitioners and funders to underpin scalable ambition, alongside supporting administration, event and programme delivery. E3G’s growing ecosystem and international partnerships includes many thematic and regional working groups and this requires E3G’s management to be astute operators able to understand and to navigate political contexts at multiple levels.
Taking private, public and civil society actors along with us requires best practice in stakeholder relations, access to the best knowledge, showcased and shared through E3G communications and knowledge dissemination. This helps us to amplify our impact through multilateral coordination, communication, and advocacy.
E3G’s ability to work globally depends on harnessing diverse perspectives and inputs. This extends to how we recruit staff and Associates – and lies in part behind the broad mix of nationalities, languages and skills. We underpin this with an active diversity policy which extends to all aspects of the HR management cycle.
