The Board of Directors of E3G is delighted to announce the appointment of Hedwige Nuyens as its new Chair.
Hedwige brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the role and currently serves as the CEO of the International Banking Federation, Chair of European Women on Boards and as a member of the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council.
Tom Burke, E3G co-founder and Chair for more than a decade, will step-down as Chair with immediate effect. Tom will continue to be a Non-Executive Director. The appointment of Hedwige Nuyens represents an important evolution of E3G as a sustainable organisation moving beyond its founders
The Board of Directors of E3G would like to thank Tom Burke for his vision and dedication as E3G Chair, helping steer E3G from being a UK start up to an international organisation of over 150 people working in twelve countries. Tom is one of the UK’s founding environmentalists who has dedicated more than 50 years of service to protecting and enhancing the natural world. We look forward to continuing to benefit from his wisdom as a non-executive director of E3G.
